It began as daily notes to lighten up the inbox of friends in not so fun cubicle places. I’ve worked in progressive creative workplaces and I’ve worked in non-progressive creative workplaces. I get how challenging the second scenario can be. Now I don’t work. (Oh, wait a sec, yes I do! I just forgot because my passions are my work now, so it doesn’t feel like work.)
Some of these tips will make you laugh, and get you fired, which might be exactly what you are looking for. Others might make you laugh and actually improve your cubicle life.
Use your discretion in determining which is which.
I refuse to be held responsible for any outcomes whatsoever in your life as a result of using these tips. I can do that. In fact, I can do whatever I want… I leaped from the cubicle. Damn it feels good.
I do, however, understand that it’s not always immediately possible to leap… and that there are ways to make the cubicle an ever so much funnier place!
And the thing is .. you are responsible for your own life so make it the best it can be – even, if for the moment, that means planning to throw hard marshmallows at co-workers and managers who annoy you.
For the moment, until I see how this blog creatively evolves.. I’m not going to tell you I am a life coach. Cuz life coaches don’t send notes to friends recommending throwing marshmallows at the jerk who is consistently a pain in the ass.
But if you are here, you might want to employ an excellent life coach. Choose wisely. Be sure to ask for a complimentary trial session. Make sure the coach is a good fit for you. And I hope you can track me down.
